Nine days of school (counting today). The time has really flown by!
This week is another four day week. We will have our final spelling test on Thursday. There are 15 words this week, and they may be on the bit on the tricky side just a heads up. We are talking about homonyms. As far as the week, we will be running by the normal daily schedule. This will be the calm before the storm of excitement happens next week. : )
Please be aware that next week we will come all five days.
Wednesday is Field Day, and we will be having the Crusaderlympics!! The children need to come dressed in play clothes that can get dirty and an old pair of tennis shoes. We will be running around, so it really is best for the children to wear tennis shoes and not sandals.
Friday is a half day. The children will be dismissed at noon. Also, we will not be serving lunch that day but a breakfast. All the children are welcome to come and partake. We will have the works that morning—pancakes, eggs, fruit, and so much more. After breakfast, we will head over to the civic center to practice for the program that evening. We will be back in time for dismissal at noon. That evening the children will need to be at the Civic Center by 6:00pm. The children are required to wear their formal attire, which is the blazer, white oxford shirt, tie, khaki pants or skirt, brown or black shoes. The program will begin at 6:30pm.
